Natalie Angel
My artistic name is Natalie Angel. I decided to choose this name because I always feel that I should mean something to the world, I feel a great sense of justice. That is a great motivation to make people happy and get the best out of themselves.
I want to inspire people, no matter how lost they feel. Maybe it doesn't match reality, but then the question is, what is your reality? Many experiences come from being a child and influence the rest of our lives. For some it means a positive influence, for others negative. I hope to achieve more compassion through more self-insight.
We can always think in terms of division, but it would be best to think in terms of connection. I wish everyone a happy and fulfilling life. Don't be limited by what other people think of you, be yourself without shame. Enjoy your life!

"I see your true colors"
In this current world we see a worrying increase in femicide.
Many women are confronted with domestic violence. I want more attention for that, because it is still said: "Why didn't she just leave?" The fact people still say this shows that there is little to no understanding and the perpetrator is often protected. The more a woman is ashamed, the less likely she is to be open about it.
A woman is still treated as inferior to this day and age, but people don't really notice it. Fortunately, as a woman, you can do a lot on your own with a strong will.
It is still said too often: "She must have made it this bad." or: "Every story has two sides,". In both cases the perpetrator is protected. Your own parents can also be like that. But if it is said that they are your parents does that person feel supported? Or does it feel dismissed as you have to accept a certain behavior? I hope to make you think about your own behavior and/or situation in your life. Such situations often arise because as a child you have not learned what real love is and you then look for relationships, in which you are treated the same as your own parents.
"The art of letting go"
In this painting i put past paintings together to form one piece. Its about trying to release past trauma. Now is the time to look to the future and enjoy every moment. Although the past wasn't rainbows and sunshine, all the things we go through is what builds our character. It sometimes can even make us a better person. We can learn to understand eachother and although we seem different, if we have a deep talk, we can find we are not all that different. If we try to find the subjects that we find similair we can see we have more in common then at first sight.
